I wanted “something modern!” After some research, it was clear to me that, particularly WordPress, due to frequent security issues, is no longer really ‘State Of The Art’. Systems like Joomla or even Typo3 seemed to me like killing flies with cannons. Further digging led me to the modern Flat File CMS, which operate without a database, and thereby gain considerably more speed compared to the ‘classic’ CMS. Außerdem macht das natürlich das Deployment wesentlich einfacher!

I first tried TypeMill, but I managed to break the system multiple times, which made me start looking for an alternative. In this search, I came across GRAV and decided to stick with it.
