If you don’t have a supported GPU on your computer, it can sometimes be an option to acquire an old (meaning “not current anymore”) “crypto‑miner” card. I successfully tried it with a Nvidia Tesla P40. These cards are currently (December 2024) available from eBay for just about €300 shipped from China. (There are additional cooling costs! These cards are passively cooled only.)
